Job Related Skills:
In 2007, I worked as an Intern at Sprint in their Service Management department under the Network Operations. During my internship, I was accountable for maintaining cell sites and providing support for upcoming cells in the North Central US.
After graduating in 2008, I started working at Sprint as a Network Engineer. In this role, I oversaw and corrected any network complications that their largest Mobile Virtual Network Operator was experiencing. My role not only encompassed engineering, but also project management. I was put as a lead on building a tool that allowed business customers to be involved with network issue resolution along with offering them a medium to request network trouble information for the CDMA, Code Division Multiple Access, network. I also led a project to create and organize service oriented Viseo models that explained network functions to allow for a better understanding how communication in the network.
Major cutbacks at Sprint led to a layoff. After being let go, I decided it was a perfect time to go back to school for my Masters. I will be finishing up my degree in December and have an optimistic outlook for the future in the field. During my schooling, I have gotten experience with Six Sigma and am able to take the certification at any point. I also taught myself HTML/CSS over the summer!
